Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Other technologies with similar functions may also be used, such as local storage or tracking pixels.
2. Who is responsible?
Tiny Loop Studios (9 rue du Bouloi, 75001 Paris, France) is responsible for the placement and reading of cookies on Games4Cast, together with certain third-party providers (PostHog for analytics, Stripe for payment-related cookies).
3. Types of cookies used
3.1 Essential cookies (always active)
These cookies are strictly necessary for the operation of Games4Cast and for providing the service you request. Without them, the website and the service would not function properly. They include:
- Clerk — authentication and session cookies to keep you logged in and secure your account;
- cookies necessary to remember your privacy and cookie settings;
- Stripe — certain cookies required for secure payment processing and fraud prevention.
These cookies do not require your consent, but we inform you about their use.
3.2 Analytics and performance cookies (consent required)
Subject to your consent, we use analytics cookies and similar technologies via PostHog to:
- measure traffic and usage of Games4Cast;
- understand how features are used;
- improve performance and user experience.
These cookies collect aggregated statistics and may assign a unique identifier to your browser or device. We do not place analytics cookies without your prior consent, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.
4. Cookie consent and withdrawal
When you first visit Games4Cast, a cookie banner appears allowing you to:
- accept all cookies;
- accept only essential cookies.
Your choices are recorded in your browser's local storage. You can change your preferences at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or by clicking the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of any page.
Access to Games4Cast and its main features is not conditioned on your acceptance of analytics cookies. We do not use “cookie walls” that block access if you refuse non-essential cookies.
You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies, but this may affect the operation of essential features (in particular, authentication).
5. Retention of cookie data
Analytics data collected via PostHog is retained for a maximum of 13 months, after which it is aggregated or anonymized.
6. Contact
For any question about our use of cookies, contact us at legal@tinyloopstudios.com.
You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés), the French data protection authority.
